Description of the ARTtrust solution
ARTtrust Online is a simple self-certification system, under full control of each photographer or artist. It provides an individual identity to all types of prints, whether digital or from other printing techniques, such as lithographs, serigraphs or traditional silver photography.The system is a combination of physical elements and data accessibility through the Internet, integrating the best of analog and digital capabilities.
ARTtrust Online increases the confidence of all stakeholders in the art world by providing traceability for each pigment print, proof of authenticity, and certified information about print longevity, while retaining full confidentiality of all transactions and ownership.
The Stakeholders.The main people interested in this system are photographers and artists who adopt the solution, but also their printing service labs, art resellers (from galleries, auction houses, etc.), and ultimately public and private art owners. Creators may be photographers, designers or digital or traditional artists - whoever is selling pigment prints as either unique originals or as multiple originals in limited edition.
